Tiya by Sania Maskatiya is an international resort wear brand that initially launched in the Middle East. The brand has seen tremendous success since its launch in November 2024 and has since been launched on Ounass - the Middle East’s premier luxury website offering the world’s most exclusive brands.
How Did We Help?

Branding, Visual Identity, Icon Pack, and Packaging Elements.
We worked closely with Sania Maskatiya to build their global resort brand Tiya from scratch. As a brand created for the well-travelled soul, one that fuses bold designs with premium fabrics and is rooted in craftsmanship - we really wanted to bring this across through the use of icons, so here’s a little deep dive into the design decisions behind the icon pack.

The main purpose of the brand symbol is to build brand recall. Just as Sabyasachi is inseparable from the Royal Bengal Tiger, we wanted a symbol that encapsulates everything Tiya stands for. So we thought, what better than a stamp? A timeless emblem of travel, authenticity, and nostalgia; perfect for a resort wear brand rooted in exploration, connection, and escapism. Its circular form allows for seamless use across clothing tags, digital touchpoints, and more.
To bring our icons to life, we turned to a unique technique: Risograph Printing. Though it may resemble a photocopier, a Risograph works more like a screen printer, layering vibrant spot colours through stencils to create richly textured, tactile prints.
Why RISO? Because perfection isn’t the goal, but character is. The slight imperfections of risograph prints give the icons a handcrafted, artisanal feel. Each print has personality, a quality that speaks directly to our ethos of authenticity, individuality, and craftsmanship.
These icons are more than just design elements, they carry the spirit of Tiya. They reflect our playful yet refined aesthetic and can shift to feel whimsical, tropical, or quietly sophisticated.
